Hi

Current Media Center Setup:

Windows 7 RC

Media Browser Plugin

Arcsoft TMT3

Intel Quad 6600

ATI 4550 HDMI to Onkyo 875 -> Pioneer Plasma

When watching either 1080p - 720p MKV or blu-rays in arcsoft tmt3 my media center will go into standby every 30 mins. I have done everything to stop this from disabling what the power button does and setting to never standby on idle. Yet EXACTLY every 30 mins it will go into standby.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on. I have seen this partially mentioned on other forums but with no solution. I am sure It is not an overheating issue (i think).

go into power options and set it not to go standby for 3 hrs or however long it takes you finish your longest movie...

I have gone through every possible setting in both media center, arcsoft and windows 7 in general ad set everything to never go into standby yet it still does.

Just literally finished a blu-ray and 30 mins on the dot it went into standby standby. I always though when playing video the machine is never considered idle.

But your graphics card may have been considered Idle since you did not move your mouse for 30 minutes and you power settings are set to turn off the graphics card after 30 minutes of inactivity.
