Ok, this should be a simple and effortless task but for some reason it isn't!

I have a couple tv shows that it is not recognizing.

So there is no data or art or anything.

Whenever you click on a known show and go to organize files and edit metadata you get the pop up with all the info fields to edit.

However, if I do this with one of the unknown shows I get the popup but none of the fields are there so I can give it the info. How do tell this program the tvdb # so it can fetch the information for me?

What I don't understand is that for some things I have.... when I launch the program it will give me a popup window telling me it doesnt recognize the show or whatever with the option to put in an imdb number... but for a few of the shows it is not doing this?.... so I need to figure out how to do it manually .... but when you have no metadata at all there are no fields to fill in.

...oh, and while I am here... what are the fetch metadata FORCED options supposed to be for?

Ok, as a quick workaround I took an xml from another show and copied it into the folder giving me problems. Replaced the tvdb number with the proper one and then deleted the rest of the data. Started MCM and it got the rest of the data, artwork etc.

There has to be a better way to do this though....

I still have a few others it is not recognizing....I could do this for all of them but if it can be done from within the program I would prefer to do it that way.

It sees the folder.... It tells me in the progress screen on the right...

MCM... now working on 'TV SHOW'

THETVDB.COM... now working on 'TV SHOW'

THETVDB>COM...Unable to determine what show this is

So why doesn't it ask me with a pop up window or let me tell it somewhere?
