ok so i have been looking and looking. what i want is something like the LaCinema Classic HD but with RAID 1 capbability for redundency. am i dreaming or is there something out there besides a htpc... i am will to pay $500.00 - $700.00. Please help..

Are you wanting this in a 1 box solution? Certainly you can feed the Lacie with a NAS and achieve RAID1...you could also use a MSS, not true RAID, but I believe operates in a similar fashion to RAID1. Of course, this would be a 2 box solution, your Storage (NAS) and the Media Player (Lacie).

I have not come across anything in a one box solution that has multiple drives to allow you to run a RAID1 config.

I don't see anything in the spec's about raid 1 however. If it had that (and was currently available) then it might fit the bill.
