I finished construction my hushbox and I am in the process of sound proofing it. Ive had a hardtime trying to find the duct board (rigid fiberglass) that other people use to sound proof their so I am trying to find alternative materials. I was searching the Mcmaster site and found some melamine foam ceiling tiles (9216T2) with a nrc rating of 0.95. They are reasonably priced for melamine foam which is usually not that cheap. Has anyone tried using these tiles for their sound proofing aplications?
