Hi all,

I’ve heard so many bad stories regarding bonded leather seats that will peel after 2-3 years of avg use. I have found some microfiber seats online and wondering if they will be a better investment over bonded leather? Here is the link https://4seating.com/seatcraft-theater-seating/seatcraft-home-theater-seating-catalina.htm

I only need about 6 for now. I don’t mind that the armrest are bonded. Real leather isn’t in my budget, thanks for any feedback!

If you worried about bonded leather I would not even get bonded leather armrests, if they peeled it would look pretty bad.

I would go full microfiber on the chair.

As someone who knows more than he cares to know about leather, I would say stay away from bonded.

In this instance, you might get more use out of the armrest than you would the seating surface. There probably isn't a way to do this cheaply, but when the bonded goes you could reupholster the armrests in fabric.
