I can't directly answer your question, but I can say that the OM-7's effectively sound exactly the same as the OM5's, except for the fact that the OM-5's have deeper bass. For me, I went with the OM7's because I have them mated to a sub, so deeper bass wouldn't do me any good. Great speakers, but a small pain to position for the best sound.

Mirage OM series question
Do the OM-5's sound alot or any better than the OM-6's they replaced? I have the chance to get either OM-6's or OM-7's at about the same price. I have heard the OM-7's and I liked them, but have not heard the OM-5's or OM-6's. Should I get the OM-7's, OM-6's or wait and try to find a better price on some used OM-5's.

how much power should I have to drive them? Is 100 true watts enough?
What kind of amp? If it's a "quality" 100W, will be fine. Mirage's are pretty efficient.
Like an outlaw 7100 or other AMP in that price range. Any suggestions. I am all for getting a used amp of that price range if I can find a good deal on one.
The Outlaw should be fine. Don't tell anyone, but they conservatively rate their amps in terms of power. 
I've been using OM-6's for years and love them.
I wouldn't want the more powerful bass that the OM-5's deliver. They'd overwhelm my 18x20 room.
