There is no information to suggest that the S12 is being discontinued. If you go on the Mirage web site it is still listed as a current skew. As with all consumer electronics, it will eventually be updated and improved.

Mirage S12 being discontinued???
Hi, i'm about to pull the trigger and order a Mirage S12 since they're sale at Vanns. However, are they on sell because they are being discontinued? I'm slowly trying to start building my home theater/music system and plan on ordering one of the 12's and then another when I get more money (i'm building an all Mirage speaker system). Will these subs be harder to find say 4 months down the line? Thanks for any replies!

On the Mirage site forum, there was a statement that they are not being discontinued. They've only been out a year. I'd expect them to be around at least 4 months.
