I liked it, and wonder how will be the alternate ending. Maybe it won't be a big difference like I Am Legend but I'm curious...


Oh and I'm sure a custom cover will be in order for the canuckistani release! I need to work on something asap!

Yes it was more scary than lately horror movies.I saw via a local dvd,no extra.Wonder why it looked like The Eye at the end(These 2 movies remake from Asian movies both.).

both movies have the end so much aliked in it's own way to find/seek the root of the incidence.

Just finished watching the unrated version. It's only 15 seconds longer than the theatrical version. Just a couple of scenes have a little more gore added to them. This was the standard dvd, so I can't speak for the blu-ray version.

I thought the movie was great, great acting, but disappointed with the PQ. VERY excessively grainy. So much so that it took away from the picture quality. I don't mind a little grain, but this was too much.

correction, unrated version is only 10 seconds longer. Theatrical listed at 1:51.05

unrated listed at 1:51.15. What a joke. Anything to make an extra buck I guess.

I realize the unrated is fairly short, but did they maybe change OTHER STUFF within the movie as well or is it really only 10 additional seconds? (ie. took out an old shot and replaced it with a new one of similar length but different content)...

Hey MDC, there's a really good review on the DVD "Mirrors" on DVDTALK.com In the review there is said to be deleted scenes on the disc. The copy I rented from Blockbuster shows nothing like that. It just offers you the R-rated or unrated version. So mabey on a store bought disc there is more to be offered. The reviewer says he has a "screener disc". So his copy is different than what I'm watching.

If it were available. The Blockbuster stores in my area did not receive any copies. And Netflix changed this title's status to "Release Date unknown." (Same is true for the BD release of EDEN LAKE.)

The only option currently available to view MIRRORS in HD is via HD OnDemand. They are offering the unrated version, but does anyone know if it is OAR? (Usually with OnDemand, it's not OAR, but there are sometimes exceptions).

Watched this last night and the disc does look very good, though there is a fair amount of grain. Sound is terrific, particularly during the store scenes. The movie itself was fairly well done and high up on the creepy factor, though the thrird act seemed like a totally different movie.

I watched this last night and thought it was pretty good but I agree witht he poster above about the third act, felt very lame compared to the rest of the movie which was pretty creepy. Loved the Jack Bauer moments too "DAMMIT!!!"

When I watch this BD after a Time to Kill,Jack Bauer was so young at the latter film.This Mirror BD was a good BD again from FOX.

I have to say that I was suprised how much better this movie was from what I was expecting. Having seen so many asian horror remakes, this was one of the better ones.
