I went and checked both of these speakers but I just can't decide which pair to get.

I did enjoy the mission bit more but on the other hand the use will be for music and home theater and I already have a paradigm center (cinema 110C)

I listen mostly to Jazz and Rock (not hard rock)

I will be using Harman Kardon AVR 255 receiver.

any suggestions?

I don't think the tweeters match with the cinema series and the monitor series. That can cause problems with timbre matching. I like the atoms. I use them as my surrounds.

If you want a good bookshelf, I would say wait for a pair of used studio 20's. They're really highly rated, and sound amazing. Just my two cents.

I've never heard mission speakers so I can't comment on them.

Another thing to consider is that the Missions use a fabric dome tweeter while the Paradigms use a Titanium dome tweeter. Generally, these sound significantly different, especially in the upper ranges. Since you seem to like both, it probably won't make much difference for stereo music, but could impact HT especially with sound effects that pan the front soundstage (like a plane flying left to right).
