Mits 65813 or Optoma RD65

I am trying to decide between the Mitsubishi 65813 and Optoma RD65. Which one should I get? How does HD and DVHS on the Mits compare to the Optoma? If I go with the Mits which DVD player should I get for it (Denon 2910)?

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Do you prefer CRT or DLP? The Mits is a CRT, the Optoma is a DLP.

Do you watch mostly SD or HD? Mits will have a softer picture, hence SD material will look better on this set. Hi-Def will look much sharper on the Optoma.

Do you care about video games, or wish to use your set as a computer monitor? If so, CRT is not recommended because of the possible burn-in issue.

The Mits does have several features the Optoma lacks (built-in tuner, memory card reader, etc.).
