My thanks to Scott,Jpell and Leszek1.

My Mits D-VHS just came in and I just finished my first test with tspcap.

This is Waaaaaaaay cool!!

I have about 15 recording's when I used to have the Panny DST51/HD1000 combo.

I stuck one in the deck, made the filter graph like the HOWTO said and hit play.

The .ts files are being created and when I play them back from the Hipix, I am getting the picture and sound from that recording which was done on the HD1000.

Thanks a LOT,

Joe

I am a bit stuck on trying to dump Hipix files TO the D-VHS.

I am trying both Dstream and manually with Graphedit according to the HOWTO.

Dstream says "unable to start... missing MSVCR70.dll"

and on the HOWTO, I do NOT see "MPEG2 Transport to Source Packets" listed under the Directshow filters.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Rick,

I have downloaded every file on that website. I can not find any dll in any of the zip files - only source files.

EDIT: Never mind. I see what he did. He copies msvcrt.dll TO msvcr70.dll

Thanks,

Joe

Any idea why "MPEG2 Transport to Source Packets" is not listed under the directshow filters in Graphedit?

Joe, please follow my HOWTO doc to the letter -- download my zipped filters and run "register.bat" this will "create" msvcr70.dll for you. (If you would rather do the steps manually here's the complete register.bat file:

Quote:
@copy %windir%\\system32\\msvcrt.dll .\\msvcr70.dll

@regsvr32 /s tsp2sp.ax

@regsvr32 /s tspcap.ax
After you register the filters you will see them in GraphEdit. JPELL's filter is newer and has been made more tolerant of bad streams. You should register his instead of mine.
