Hi All

I am rather new to this and looking to build my first HTPC and purchase a 48 in or so RPTV.

I find the Netcommand interesting.

Anyone have any insite on the abilities of this combination?

Does NetCommand and PC's play together?

Any other RPTV better suited for HTPC's in the 48" (or close)

Thanks,

Eddie

To my knowledge there isn't a driver to use the Mits as a monitor. You can use it in the hub. I discussed this with someone who spoke to a Mits tech in depth about this and one thing is for certain. You will NOT be able to watch, capture or anything HD that comes out from the Mits tuner. I have a 55869 and I love it. Out of the box they are so-so but if you take the time to tweak it and do convergence you will be blown away when hooked up to a HTPC. I would consider getting a plasma if you have the budget.

Hi, Thanks for your reply!

I was planning on a HDTV cable box and didn't plan on using the onboard tuner.

I am more interested in Netcommand and avoiding the Red problems I've been reeading about as well as a few other reasons.

So the question remains, does Netcommand and PC's work together?

Thanks,

Eddie
