I've been searching for a while and I see quite a few references to this same problem but I don't see any follow-ups on a fix.
My Mitsubishi WD-65733 constantly has flickering issues when displaying 1080p content. This happens with my xbox 360, PS3, and blu-ray. The flickering sometimes turns the screen completely black and comes back 5 seconds later. Sometimes it flickers over to a different HDMI source, then back to the correct source. If I change the input device to 1080i or less, the problem goes away.
I tried a different cable but I'm not sure its any better than the first one. So my question(s)...
- Can I update firmware on this TV? Do I need to?
- Should I try a new HDMI cable? Can someone link me one on monoprice if it needs to have certain specs?
- Has anyone else had this issue? If so, were you able to fix it?
