I got a steal on my 2000U for $280. I am glad to see we finally have official word to backup what I said before about Mits not discontinuing their D-VHS units.
Then why are folks having so many issues finding?

Dave
LIkely the first production runs were small... So there is a supply problem, btw I have never had trouble finding any, even just last week..

I agree, they work very well together. The HAVi is a great feature.
Flawless recordings utilizing the Mits 73711 RP with the 2000. Only downside, is the timer can be set to record only in half hour increments. No way I have found to allow a couple of extra minutes of recording to allow for a program running late. Ince a 300 tape is good for 2 1/2 hours, I like to allow extra time for recording two one hour programs.

Unlike the Samsung T-165 there are no "clock problems".
Mikey,

I just set the timer to record the extra half hour following the program to ensure I get it all.
