So I'm buying this tv for my uncle and I know it won't fit in my car and considering its height I'm sure I'll have to lay it down or at least lean it just to get the beast in whatever I rent.


Anyone had any experience and could share how you did it?


He's not in the greatest neighborhood and I'd rather not have everyone see this giant tv going into his house so it will have to be an SUV rental instead of a pickup.


Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

A uhaul/van,some butcher paper(Roll) and some cheap cans of spray contact cement?but how would they steal it?

Budget Rent A Truck

Mine was in the original box. Put it in the back of my pickup and strapped it down loosely with ratchet straps. Drove 45 miles at 60 mph. It didn't so much as move.

The 82" will not fit in a cargo van while in the box.

Drove my 82837 home in the back of my 2010 Honda Odyssey. It fit perfectly.
