Mitsubishi DD-6030 Hangs about 1 hour into most movies.

I've had this DVD player for about 2 years and for the last 6 months or so, it starts to hang at about the 1 hr 5 mins mark of most DVDs. The unit was very warm when this occured so I took it out of my entertainment center so it could cool better. Still happened. Left it powered off for a day then re-tried it, still occurs. It does not occur all the time, but maybe 80% of the time. It ALWAYS occurs with certain DVDs.


I have tried the inxpensive DVD lens cleaners and disk cleaning products but to no avail.


Is this thing toast or does anyone have any suggestions.
