Hello all, I am new to these forums and unfortunately discovered this lovely site because I am experiencing problems with my 57" 1080P DLP Mitsubishi television (WD-57731). Within the past week or two I have noticed that while watching sports sometimes the picture on screen acts jumpy, shaky, or even slows down as if it were in slow motion temporarily. It returns to normal but has gotten to be quite irratating as I am watching the Blue Jackets vs Blackhawks hockey game in HD on the versus network on Inhd right now. Does anybody know what I am talking about or has experienced anything. I have searched online for weeks and came up with nothing, and used this sites search feature and couldn't find any useful information. I that maybe the picture problems were coming my HD cable source but I have a DVR and on playback, the image doesn't experience the problem or if it does it doesn't always occur in the same spot as the original...if this makes any sense. I tried to adjust the video noise level to OFF but haven't seen any difference. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have owned this television for about 5 weeks now, purchased it at Fry's electronics with a 5 year warranty ( I would like to avoid mitsu tech support if at all possible, the last time I called I apparently spoked to someone in a foreign country with minimal command of the English language who was reading from a script and refused to deviate from this script)

No takers? I have noticed that this problem is happening on multiple channels tonight, even on non-sports show where there is limited action on the screen. The picture slows down or acts choppy, similar to lag in computer games. And as described above, when I watch the recorded playback the choppiness isn't necessarily in the same spots. With the process of elimination I am trying to systematically eliminate potention problems, and I can't think of any other sources of this problem but the television. It is quite frusterating. I tried turning off the television as well as the my HD cable box with no luck. I live in Phoenix and am using Cox Communications Scientific Atlantic explorer HD-DVR box.

Any tips, tricks, recommendations, or firmware update suggestions would be great. Thanks again in advance.
