mitsubishi wd-62627 no 1080p through hdmi? only though ieee1394

Is this true can someone clarify this for me? i have a ps3 , and the ps3 has no ieee1394 connection.. the mitsubishi wd-62627 hdmi connections are not 1080p capable?

I have this same tv, and a ps3 as well. The hdmi's are not 1080p capable, but I don't believe the ieee 1394 is either. Mitsubishi claims the tv up-converts all signals to 1080p and that is how they make the 1080p claim. That said, I think we're both enjoying a pretty good picture with ps3 games and blu-rays.
