Right now, Sound Advice is having a sale on the Mitsubishi that allows you to buy the set for a price as low as I have seen it on Ebay or otherwise online. I looked at the 2 sets at Sound Advice and I like the Sony a little better. But the Sony is $900 more expensive. I could buy the Sony online from someone who has a store in another state, but I am reluctant to do this. I don't think the Sony is $900 better than the Mitsubishi. Anyone have any thoughts on this. They would be appreciated.

If you can wait a few months. From what I hear Sony will have a new XBR3 this summer, with a new design and some upgrades. I'm not sure if it will be a 70" but you might want to wait, It should be pretty nice. Not to say anything bad about the Mitsubishi it's a great tv too. But IMHO the XBR2 has a nicer picture so XBR3 should blow it away.
