I have a NAD T752 with DSP/pre-amping for 7.1 channels but

with only 5 discrete amps. My initial idea was to have my old,

trusted NAD stereo amp revamped and hooked up to obtain full 7.1

support. However, the old amp suffers from humming so it occurred

to me that, maybe, I could just find a couple of quality powered

speakers and use for back surround directly.

Any thoughts/experiences?
