Hello all,
I'm trying to gradually upgrade and have a question about mixing different speakers (front v. surrounds).
To be specific, I originally started out with this Onkyo HTiB: HT-S4100
This year, I finally upgraded my receiver to a Yamaha RX-V375, so the old Onkyo receiver is gone.
I also purchased a pair of Pioneer SP-BS22LR bookshelf speakers for my turntable and have been enjoying them. These setups are currently in two different rooms. I'm tempted to replace my current front speakers with the Pioneers, but I really don't know how well they would mesh. Any thoughts?
I would go ahead and purchase 2 more Pioneers to make a matching set, but my rear surrounds are ceiling mounted due to an unusual space. I don't see any good way to ceiling mount a pair of bookshelf speakers of this size.
Thanks in advance!
