I downloaded a few demo clips in DTS HD-MA, DTS:X, DOBLY TRUE HD....i put them on a USB drive and plugged it into my Onkyo 656. It doesn't read any of the files. So I tried to convert to .MP4 and it'll play that but on stereo, not with any of those codecs. Help plz.

I play MKV files on my Denon through the VLC app on the Apple TV or through my Yamaha blu-ray player, both of which support .mkv. How did you convert to MP4? Can you convert to multi-channel FLAC instead?

I converted thru VLC Media Player. I didn't think about trying to convert to FLAC, I'll try that. My Blu-Ray player is old and I'm not sure if it has USB, if it does I'll def try that, thanks.
