This discussion is probably old news for most of you guys.
But heres my .02...
I can see no reason why you should need 2 weeks of listening to hear the difference. And I can see no reason why the difference wouldnt be as evident if the test is conducted blind.
If careful analysis of physics as well as the input of "subjectivists" is used, it should be possible to sort out the worst possible case (high-end cable vs the cheapest, dullest low gauge copper wire).
Why don`t I see lots and lots of reports on this on the internet, proving either
A)Some (reasonable)conductors can sound different
B)All cables sound the same
if A is the case, it should be a manageable task to do some ABX testing on different expensive cables?
