Anyone else experience a jittery image last night? I was watching at my friend's home and the picture would stutter every few seconds. I have never noticed that on OTA or DTV broadcasts. His other TWC HD channels were fine. Thanks.

Must be local. Probably ABC in Houston, maybe TWC in Houston.

I saw it here too - Rochester NY.

Stills, sidelines, slow-mo were generally ok. But action shots would break up, and then the screen would "blink" to black for 1/2 second. I don't know if it's my box (I cold-started it at one point), my cable, Time Warner, the ABC affiliate, or ABC. Dunno. This station just went live on TWC last week.

I have my STB to output 1080i, and I noticed some bad interlace artifacts during the plays. I have not tried it, but it may look better if I output at 720p from the STB.


I also noticed major audio dropouts during the commercials.

My TW people said to check for poor splitters. I knew I had a nice one in the basement, but lo and behold, I had a couple of crappy ones behind the AV stand. From the wall jack, I was splitting off to the TV COAX and VCR, before running into the cable box. So I took out the cheap splitters for now - if I put those devices back, I'll go all the way back to the big splitter in the basement. Anyway, the jury is out until Monday night, but I was noticing artifiacts on "the view" this morning, and that seems to be taken care of.
