Apparently I need an amplifier to get adequate signal strength since after my splitter on the main input the signal is low. I am assuming that the "proper setup" would be (1) main input (2) moca filter (3) amplified splitter.
I can't find a moca compatible amp/splitter. I am assuming that I could connect as follows. (1) main input (2) non-moca compatible amp (3) moca filter (4) splitter.
Would this work OK? I am a little afraid that the amp before the splitter might over-boost the signal, but ...
If not, does anyone know of a splitter amplifier/booster that would work.
