I own a BG808, which I am very happy about.


But I can't help not thinking about what can be done to make it better?


A friend just got some special C elements for his BG1209s.


Can this be done with the BG808?




These Roscoe filters I have heard about - where can I buy them?

I've got them, or any lighting supply shop will carry them, They are very easy to install.

anything else I can do to improve mig BG808 - within reason (not interested in changing glycol) - ohter than Rosco filters?

Look at Bjorn's work with mounting the HD144 lenses to an 808.

He may also have some electronic upgrades. There is an active post going on now.

If someone wants to swap their 808 for my 800, I'd be happy to do the same e-cap upgrades (mostly Black Gates) and provide instructions with lotsa photos!
