anyone has ever tried anything ?

I will be upgrading my computer in january,

and will be using the new motherboard audio digital output

( coaxial spidf ) from Alia HD audio chips

I wanted to know if there is anything to be done on the motherbaord side to help with sound quality on digital output, jitter, and maybe audio chip power supply lines .. ???

as anyone ever attempted to modify his motherboard onbaord sound for quality purposes ?

ok

nice try :p

first thing ..never will i use any tubes.. my definition of audio doesn't include distortion

secondly, i mentionned that i was going to be using the digital output

soo there is no need for fancy output stage on the mobo for me

i will be using a standalone DIY pcm1794 stereo DAC

i guess that this "tubed" mobo could be a nice upgrade for someone looking for good audio output from a mobo!
