I’ve long thought about how current displays, even OLEDs, still don’t quite match-up with CRT monitor technology. Well, it looks like the people at Digital Foundry agree with me. While I am not going to make the move back to CRT and give up the large screen experience, there is certainly much progress still to be made with modern display tech.

I used to lust over the Sony FW900 24" 16:10 CRT back in the day. In the end, I played my games on a 19" Mitsubishi Diamondtron 4:3 CRT and was a long term holdout for LCD.
