Wil,
As i mentioned to you prior to you build. The molex connectors on the backplanes of the 4220 are extremely "flimsy". They are connected to the backplane at the back of the molex connector, onto the backplane. The front of the molex connector then has two small white plastic "tabs" that keep the molex connector, which is otherwise loose in the front, locked into place.
As I cautioned you before, when putting the molex from the power supply into the molex on the 4220, you must be extremely careful. If you push to hard, or upwards on the molex, the white tabs will come out, and the molex connector will articulate up. Now, if you pushed to hard and actually broke the molex off, you can kiss it goodbye. Lucky for you, I have read of other users who are only using one molex connector per backplane. I am not sure how safe this is, but according to my power calculations, you should be fine.
I am not sure why Norco put two molex on each backplane, but I am guessing it was done for dual power supplies, for redundency. I just finished my build and am currently migrating data from my drives to my unraid server in the norco. So far, other than the flimsy backplanes, and cramped space between backplanes and fan assembly, I should have used molex extenders, I love the case. The fans are a little loud, but the pressure they produce is very high!!!
Good luck with your build.
