Can any owner of a Momitsu or other upconverting DVD plaver capable of playing MPEG4 confirm if they are able to play Windows Media High Definition Disks - Like the Terminator-2 High Definition Disk? TIA

I just got a new 880DX and it shows "MP3 / MP4 / JPG / DVD" at the start up screen. Is this the same as MPEG4 ? I do not have the Terminator-2 High Definition Disk so I can not test it.

MPEG4 is not the same CODEC as the HD-WMV, and likely would run into serious issues if it did play WMV with the MS blessing; hence, specifically stating WMV capable.


However, I do not have one and Asian products have a habit of bending the rules...
