Hi, I am plannig new 5.1 surround system. AVR would be Onkyo 606 and speakers wolud be Monitor Audio BR series. Room is something like 5x3m (16x9.5f), with SW for games and movies. I was told that BR5 is too big for my room and I would be better with BR2 because bass would be too strong. Is that true? How large room should be fod BR5? I am interested in music too, beside games and movies. What would you recommend BR5 or BR2? Thanks.

I have MA BR-5's for my fronts in a 16' by 14' room as part of a MA BR home theater setup and I don't find them to be overkill at all. They have a really nice sound for such a compact floor stander. BTW I do have a ORB Audio sub in the system as well, so I don't think the BR-5's will produce too much bass on their own.
