Hi.

I have a geforce card with Y/C output, but since

my computer is in another room I need a program

that allows me to switch between the monitor and

Y/C by the click on the keyboard. Getting rather tired

of running between the rooms.

Hope someone can help me.

Y/C is S-Video. Luminance(Y) and chrominance(C) signals.

With the ATI Radeon product you can have both the S-Video(Y/C) output on and the VGA output on simultaneously, but you have to set this up in the Desktop=>Properties=>Settings=>Advanced menus and tabs. The only problem with doing this is that it limits you to a 60Hz refresh rate which can be rather annoying on a CRT monitor.

I suspect that the G-force has something similar.

Yeah, but I was thinking about a simple

program that actually switches between

them at the click of a button....So I wouldn't

have to run forth and back to see where I

should put the mouse.

You should be able to accomplish this with Girder, you could program the monitor switch function to a hot key on your keyboard. Not the easiest to program but is very doable if you play around with it a bit. Girder can be had for free here.

TVtool

This is a great utility. It works with nvidia cards. It has the feature you are looking for...plus it will allow your card to show the same image on both screens at once if you need that...

Check it out ...it has some neat features.
