Hi all.

I just started ripping my CD collection to my PC, and just made a

9meter COAX cable to connect to receiver. I am amazed at the quality

of Monkey.

I use winamp as player, but wondered if there is a better looking

player out there. If not, maybe a cool skin for winamp. I would like to have

a picture 'in the back' in the box where the song titles are(behind the

text, maybe an image of the monkey from Monkey audio:))

Another question is: How do I make the songs list in the same manner

they were on the CD? This would be nice to know, before ripping my

Pink Floyd collection. It would be horrible to have The Final Cut shuffled

together:)

Thanks,

Nicholas

Thanks. Will this or any program allow me to fetch cover art? It seems

a lot to scan.

Yeah, .APE files all the way for me, too!

I'd definitely recommend (ASIO output from) Media Jukebox or Media Center for best audio quality. I believe they will do some cover art fetching, but there are also a couple of projects going here on the forum to do this. Try searching for "cover art" and you should be able to find them...

I rip my CD's using EAC as a single wave file then use the MakeAPL application to process the .cue file EAC creates.

If the "File naming template" is "TRACK# - TITLE" then your tracks will be ordered correctly in your player.

Can I put anything around %N in EAC, so it won't show the number in

the text?
