Hi,

Just wondered if anyone knew what the white point is for a domestic monochrome CRT? Is it D65? Or are the tolerances such that there is no standards, with exception to the Sony PVM monochrome monitors?

Thanks

Ok, I googled this and it appears that the domestic monochrome CRT possess a P4 type phosphor which provides a white point at around 7000k. Go out there and buy those monochrome CRT's. They will make a GOOD optical comparator.
