I had my AT-9 dish installed yesterday and the installer did a terrific job. Put it on the roof where my old dish was and drilled into solid wood....2x4's that I had placed between rafters. So it seems very solid.

However, he did not use and had not heard of, the optional monopole support.

I'd like to add one for insurance purposes......where can I purchase this item?

Haven't seen anyone that has them in stock yet. Contact SolidSignal, they should be able to let you know if they plan to stock them when they are available.

I got an e-mail from Solidsignal and they will have them in a few days. I can pre-order by calling them. No mention of price.

I thought about this, but the installer, who was excellent, had not heard of these at all, so I'll probably just buy one on my own. Can't be too expensive.

I called them, Solidsignal. They would not let me pre-order since they don't have a part number in their system yet. Told me to call back sometime next week.

They can't be the only game in town......

Could happen especially if the main pole is not solidly bolted or screwed into the surface.

I'm wondering if this addition post install is value added then?
