Does anyone have the CAT 6 from Monoprice?

How is construction of the cable?

Is it "soft" or "firm" lol

I will be wiring some in the house and it will not be hidden. I have different kinds of CAT 6 cables at work and one is firm and the other is soft like most CAT 5e. The firm ones are the one that most business use with the shielding. I would prefer if the cables are softer since it will be easier to run through the house. I am renting right now and will be buying a house in a year or two. So I will remove these cables and bring it.

I have cat6 from Monoprice. I ordered a 50 foot run 2 25 foot runs and some shorter cables. I use it from my router along my baseboard around a doorframe, back down along more baseboard to my entertainment center into a switch there for my ps3, blu ray and xbox 360. I too rent, so drilling and running under the floor wasnt an option at the moment. Im not really sure if its SOFT but it deffinately makes the bends at almost 90 degrees perfect when going around the doorframe.

It is very good quality and can be worked with very easily. Home Depot's brand is "softer" but it also doesn't feel as good as the monoprice (I just finished running it throughout my house, both brands). They both work the same though so I guess its preference.

My vote goes to monoprice as it feels better and is cheaper.
