My TV is a Samsung HLN4365W. I have a monoprice hdx-301 hdmi switcher. It works with my PS3 but will not work with my cable box. I get the dreaded msg that the output is blocked becasue your tv is not HDCP compliant. But I know my tv is compliant becasue the boxes work if hooked up directly to the tv. I tried DVI from the box and HDMI to the switcher and no luck. So today I switched the box for a SA 4250 which has HDMI and it still wont pass through the switcher. Anybody out there have a similar problem with this switcher? Thanks in advance for any help.

Ed, I have both MP switches (the 2-1 & the 5-1) I have the comcast box, the Toshiba XA2 HD player, and the Samsung P-1000 Blu-Ray player and the only one that will work with the switcher is the Toshiba They all work if hooked up directly to the projector. Iv'e given up on this problem & I now have the comcast box using component out & the other 2 hooked to HDMI inputs 1 and 2 on the projector. Its amazing to me how a $500 unit will pas thru but a $1000 unit will not!! As far asa the Comcast box, I know it definitley needs a Firmware update to make it work, but how long can we wait for Comcast? FOREEVER!!!

thanks.. i work for and have cablevision service... i wrote MP an email. I'll see what they have to say about it.. I didnt buy the switcher with the intention of hooking up the box to it.. i only reall wanted to hook up my PS3 and the HTPC I'm building. so in the end i dont think i'll make a big stink over it.. I just wish the product would work as advertised..
