Looking for any remote that brags about distance. So far, the AVL300 is the only one I've found...
My HT is set up in a bonus room at one corner of the house. All the HT components are in a "media closet" off the bonus room with their IR recievers pointed away from the rest of the house...
I assume I'm supposed to mount the omni RxTx directly in front of the IR pickups such that they can all be "IR sprayed"?
Can I expect the omni RxTx to be able to pickup the remote signals from the opposite diagonal corner of the house (approx 100')?
Anyone ever tried any distance tests?
