Ok, have the NEC LT150 on order and I want to be sure that I have the basic stuff ready for the day it arrives.
I am currently using a Sony 42" RPTV, Yamaha RXV800 receiver, a Panasonic DVD, and DirecTV. I will be keeping all of this sans the Sony RPTV and will be adding a HTPC to possibly replace the DVD player.
So, do I need anything special for this? I want the Yamaha to drive the system and have the HTPC run though the Yamaha. It looks like all I need is an s-video cable, but that I could also use a component to vga cable.
So, help me with my cable confusion. I know I need a vga to component cable for the HTPC to the Yamaha, but what should I use from the Yamaha to the NEC?
Also, what is the best "bang for the buck" component cable on the market?
Thanks for the help.
