I made some good progress on the theatre since my last post, check out the pictures at http://www.pbase.com/pestario/home_theatre


Got all but 1 outlet in, everything is wired, lights are up and wired, just need to be centered on their railing now. I built the second wall and cubby holes as well. I also got the speaker wires in the rack wired into the plates. The cubby holes will have shelves were I can store my dvds.


Not in the website yet is I hung the drywall on the back wall and cut around the cubby holes. I put in a layer of mud yesterday and another layer this morning, I also put in plastic beads around all the cutouts and the first layer of mud on those.


Tonight I have to power sand 2 seams that I went a little nuts on and put another layer of mud on the plastic beads. I'll probably build the front stage while the mud dries on the other walls. If all goes well Ill sand and prime tomorrow night and paint the walls in the finish colors on Wednesday.


I'm hoping to but ceiling rails and tile this week and spraying them so over the weekend I can put in the ceiling.


Also if anyone thinks Im missing something or has advice its always appreciated.

Had to rip out the bad beads and added J beads which look much nicer, also primed the back wall. It's starting to get exciting. Almost done with all the darn sanding
