I am asking myself, why should it not be possible to get motionflow from a PC ? What I mean: Like Sony's VW200 calculated the intermediate picture in motions, why should a PC not be able to do the same thing, so when we have a 24p Blu-Ray title and our graphics card hopefully output 48Hz, we have actualy by nature the possibiity to improve the motionflow on screen.

Has anyone heard if this is a concept that TMT/PDVD will offer at some point of time ? Would be a clear upgrade in PQ...

I've never tried it but WinDVD 9 advertises somthing that sounds similar:

New! Digital Natural Motion

Keep fast-moving objects sharp and crisp using the latest motion compensation technology. The software detects the original frame rate (24, 25 or 30 frames per second) and intelligently fills in frames on the fly to create judder-free playback at all frame rates.

You can only eliminate judder from 1080p/24 BR disks if you have a display that will display a 120 frames per second when fed with the 10800/24 content and which will then do 5:5 pull down which means it will display each frame of the 24fps content 5 times so there is not judder introduced since in actuality your are seing the origional 24 different frames each second since 5x24 = 120.
