My problem is switching from an hd channel to a non hd channel the picture cuts out,i do have sound but no picture.the box is hooked into a hk avr 254 with hdmi and then out to lg lcd hdtv also with hdmi.the picture only comes back when i either turn off the cable box then back on or turn reciever off then on,how can i fix this problem

Sounds like an HDMI handshake issue. Bypass the HK and try going directly from the 3416 to the HDTV.
