Please forgive me if this has been answered before. I could not find any ref to this problem. I just had Comcast HD cable installed with what I assume is the 5100 box and Mits. ws65909 HDTV. Everytime I go from anolog tv to HDTV, a message is displayed that in effect says no hd signal, check the cables and then I get the HDTV picture (which is perfect) but the error message stays on screen until I find the Mits remote and hit cancel.


My neighbor has the exact tv and cable service and he also gets the message. Mits says it is comcast at fault, comcast says they never heard of the problem. They had a tech pay a visit and he just said he did not understand what was going on but if he figured it out he would call me.


Also how do you know the model of the motorola cable box. I can not find any numbers on box. Tech said it was a new box but who knows.


Anyone have any ideas?
