This is the box Comcast will be suppling to its digital cable customers in Nashville. Will I be able to use it for receiving "OTA" HD signals along with cable? I ask because it appears Comcast won't be offering on cable , a couple of the stations available OTA.

No. It's only for QAM cable HDTV/DTV.
