I just received an "upgraded" Motorola DCT6416 from TimeWarner Cable (formerly Adelphia).


Couple of questions:


- are these boxes deemed to be better than the Moxi by the cable company?


- one of the problems I have is that some channels (e.g. FoxSoccer Channel) used to come in and fit my plasma TV as widescreen. With this new box, they come in the traditional non-widescreen format.


Any ideas on how to deal with this?

power the box off, hit the menu button, change the 4:3 override setting

down arrow down to the 4:3 override and then left or right arrow to change it.
