I have a Dell 2300MP porjector arriving tonight. I want to get a head start on getting it mounted to my ceiling. I already have a ceiling mount installed for the Proxima 6150 that died.


Does anyone know what the hole pattern dimensions are for the Dell projector? Also what size screws does it use? The Proxima used M4 screws, but I found that 10-32 screws work, they are just a little tight. I will go buy the right screws today if anyone knows the proper size.


One thing I am dissappointed in is that this type of info is not on Dells website. The other manufacturers seem to do a pretty good job of putting drawings and complete info for their products ont heir webstes.

I am currently building a removable mounting for my Dell 2300MP. The cost is less than $8.00 AUD.


The Dell 2300MP uses a universal CCTV central mount.

The real advantage is that its very neat and allows all axis movement.
