I'm so excited with my 50phd7UY, but it's on the floor. My mount came today

After looking at the installation manual, I'm trying to decide how to mount the wall mount. Should I mount it anywhere on the wood back piece?


Or should I screw the mount through the wood and through the metal bars on the back

As if I was mounting the plasma on metal studs.


I want to do this tonight, and of course do it right.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at in that picture, but I would definitely mount to studs of any sort, whether wood or metal. I have the exact same setup as you and haven't mounted mine yet either. :\\
