hey folks,

I am using Media Browser on a Win7 32 bit machine. Using the Media Browser Configurator, I added a 'movie' media set with the following path (\\\\pserver\\Videos\\Movies), and I do see the 'Movies' option in Media Browser.

The problem is; I am not seeing my Movies correctly, I am only seeing one movie, and no artwork.

I have the following two movies:

\\\\pserver\\Videos\\Movies\\Kung Fu Panda (2008)\\Kung Fu Panda (2008).avi

and

\\\\pserver\\Videos\\Movies\\Wake Up Ron Burgundy The Lost Movie\\Wake Up Ron Burgundy The Lost Movie.avi

I have folder.jpg, backdrop.jpg, and an xml file in both folder, courtesy of MediaScout. I am using Vanilla2

When I select 'Movies' I see the following screen

It only shows one movie, with no info.

Anyone know what's up?

I believe it has to do with the 'nested folder' or 'playlist count' (or something like that). By default it is 2. What this tells Media Browser is to consider any folder with 2 or less folders in it as a 'series' and to group them together (and play them continuously). This helps when you have DVDs that spanned 2 discs (LotR or Titanic, for example).

This is exactly it. I think it's the nexted folder setting. Set it to 1 or add more movies and you'll be good.

If you ever group "movie series" or similar movies into sub-directories then you could have the same problem again.

yup, changing the setting to 1 and only having 2 movies in the folder made it work correctly.

I'll change it back to 2, as I'll add a few more movies to the mix.

Thanks for the help folks!
