My elderly mom no longer utilizes her Direct with 18" dish. I live in an area that does not offer this service. If I buy a bigger dish due to my location on the out area ( it works with a 30 something inch dish 60 miles west of me) of the signal foot print and install it will anyone ever know......as long as the billing address doesn't change?

Thanks

Everyone on this forum will know, and we will immedietely report you to the DirecTV police. :D

Seriously though, you might be OK, but you probably wouldn't be able to order any PPV or sports packagesbecause your receiver won't be able to communicate via the phone line.

I kept my service listed at an Atlanta address when I moved out west. It worked just fine. Just remember that the programs you will receive will be in the time zone of the address that Directv has listed. For example: If you move from eastern time to pacific time, local channels will come on at 5 and 8 instead of 8 and 11.
