I am trying to load a music file onto my ipod that my friend sent me, and unfortunately he sent it in a m3u file (MP3 Audio PlayList) from his radio show or web site. ipod's do not support that kind of file. There are 50,000 programs if you pay for, offer to do this with ease. I am looking for one to do the trick that is free of charge. Spent hours googling last night only to find free applications that claimed to do the trick and could not, can someone help??

SOLVED my guy just sent the file to me in mp3 format thanks

FYI - An m3u file contains a list of mp3 files, it does not contain any music.

I stand corrected it is a "MP3 Audio PlayList" file same above applies, could not sync it!
